- When does Mandate Order enter Early Access?
- Steam displays Aug 11, 2026, SteamDB records Aug 12 at 02:00 UTC, and Digital Sky states August 12. The guide follows the actual Steam unlock rather than choosing a date by timezone intuition.
- How long will Early Access last?
- The current Steam statement gives an approximate target of 12 months. Digital Sky says the timing of version 1.0 can change with development progress, build quality and player feedback.
- Is Mandate Order single-player?
- Yes. The current Steam feature list identifies the game as single-player. This guide does not infer unannounced multiplayer plans.
Gameplay and systems
- What kind of game is Mandate Order?
- It is a Warring States city-builder and war simulation combining organic construction, production logistics, population needs, statecraft and large real-time battles.
- Does Mandate Order have seasonal farming?
- Yes. Four-season farming is part of the confirmed Early Access structure. Exact crop yields, fertility values and strong rotations are not yet published here.
- What is the Hundred Schools system?
- It connects competing philosophical traditions to retainers, policies and different strategic or governance paths. Detailed effects still require the shipping build.
- Does Mandate Order have real-time battles?
- Yes. Digital Sky describes large real-time tactical battles with thousands of soldiers, alongside formations, chariots, terrain and conscription.
- Does Mandate Order have city sieges?
- Yes. City-wall attack and defense, enemy invasions, wall breaching and siege warfare are confirmed high-level systems.
Platform and guide
- How many languages does Steam list?
- Steam currently lists 12 languages. English has interface and subtitle support; Simplified Chinese also has full audio in the current table.
- What are the current PC requirements?
- Steam currently lists Windows 10, 16 GB RAM, DirectX 12, broadband internet and 20 GB of available storage, with different minimum and recommended CPU and GPU targets.
