Diplomacy & Statecraft
Diplomacy, titles and trade are part of Mandate Order's confirmed Early Access structure, extending the state beyond its walls while leaving exact relationship rules and consequences to launch-build verification.

Statecraft beyond the settlement
Steam includes diplomacy and titles in the Early Access core and separately lists trade among the systems already present. Digital Sky's gameplay framing places alliances, tribute, political relationships and broader statecraft inside the diplomacy pillar, but promotional language does not prove every described interaction is implemented in the same way at launch.
A conservative guide therefore starts with the existence of the layer and waits on mechanics. The shipping interface must show which relationships are available, what action changes them, what is exchanged and what consequence follows before the archive can offer procedural advice.
Diplomacy questions for the release build
- Which states or political entities can the player contact on the launch map?
- How are relationships represented and what actions visibly change them?
- What role do titles play in access, status or governance?
- How does trade move resources, and does it depend on the logistics layer?
- Which agreements, obligations or consequences are actually implemented?
- Does the tutorial explain diplomacy before a player can create a costly mistake?
